The Erindale district is located just north of the QEW and it's borders are shaped with it's west side running along the Credit river up to the 403 and back along the train tracks to Mavis and down to the QEW.
THE AREA "LOWDOWN' TO MEET YOUR LIFESTYLE
Yet this is another area with some neat history to it, Erindale is a fantastic place to reside and there is a lot of greenspace here thanks to the Credit River running along the district as well as some great Parks scattered here with Erindale Park and the beautiful Mississauga Gardens adding that extra something for those wanting the outdoor and city life at the same time.
You are in great driving distance to downtown Toronto, Mississauga City and all other amenities that Mississauga has to offer and close to both the QEW and the 403. You can also use the Erindale Go station for transportation if you use public transportation instead of commuting. You are close to the Mississauga Golf and Country club as well if you are an avid golfer you don't have far to travel.
Erindale is known to be a rather quiet area with variety of homes from bungalows, split level and you typical two-story detached homes to your custom built head turning homes as well. Your average age of home here is around 30-40 years of age and you can find your bungalows and split levels mainly in the Credit Woodlands just off of Dundas Street west tucked in above the ridge of Erindale Park. Many of these home boast a great pride of ownership much l ike you will see in the Rathwood district.
SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES NEAR ERINDALE
If Erindale is too quiet of a community or you would like your amenities closer that I would recommend checking our some other areas of Mississauga. This area is definitely geared towards families and tends to be a quieter district with no nightlife of sorts close-by.

Being a bit of a foodie and ex-restaurant manager, I love it when I walk into a place with no expectations and am pleasantly surprised. The Erindale area has a few cool establishments that are not your typical chain restaurant and you can get a great meal and experience close to home. John Anderson Burgers is one where you walk back in time to a old style diner inside but the food is amazing. Here are a few of my favourite's in this area, check them out if you're in the area. MY REAL ESTATE OPINION ON ERINDALE
Erindale is a great district in Mississauga to consider purchasing a home as it has many great things going on in the area. It has great family friendly and quiet vibe as well as having some affordable homes to choose from to raise your family.
It boasts many beautiful parks to enjoy the outdoors and the schools have very good scores on the Fraser Institute, which is great to know for your kids attending school.
There are many styles of homes to choose from in Erindale and you have close to highway access QEW and the 403 as well as many amenities being a short drive away.
I like Erindale alot and strongly recommend it as a definite place to at least consider when deciding on where to buy in Mississauga. It is close to many things, quiet for you to enjoy your property and the must haves such as schools, highway access and amenities are all here and do well.
