Bug_WhiteonGray_RGB REAL ESTATE IN CHURCHILL MEADOWS

Is located at the westernmost part of Mississauga. Its borders run north/south from Brittania Road down to Hwy 403 and east/west from Ninth Line over to Winston Churchill Boulevard.

THE AREA "LOWDOWN" TO MEET YOUR LIFESTYLE

This is a newer and in high demand district of Mississauga

Low-rise Condos, Townhomes and Semi-detached homes are still being constructed in some areas of Churchill Meadows. Though it is still in development this can make for lower maintenance costs in regards to the Condo's and Townhomes making it appealing to younger couples that are just starting out.

Lots of detached homes with their own modern designs and not that "cookie cutter" style location where all the homes look very similar.

There are quite a few integrated parks, school and pathways peppered throughout Churchill Meadows

You'll find it's in close proximity to the Hwy 403, a five minutes drive to the QEW and about ten minutes to the HWY 401. Making this an ideal area for commuters with many viable options to get to work

There are a lot of amentities that surround the Churchill Meadows district as well. Sadly it depends where you may be purchasing your home which depends whether you are driving there or not. Note: there are a few community shopping centres peppered throughout Churchill Meadows as well and you are five minutes from Erin Mills Shopping Centre and Credit Valley Hospital.

Great area for that active double income family raising children (or planning to) who want to live that cool urban "lifestyle"

Also with the new builds the lot sizes tend to be smaller here (but that means less maintenance for you) and they sell for a premium as well.

CHURCHILL MEADOWS SCHOOLS AND THEIR RANKINGS

There are quite a few schools located in the Churchill Meadows community, although most of these score pretty well with a 7/10 average with a few that bring that average down. Again this is a newer area so it could take a little more time until the schools are fuller and they are able to retrieve all the necessary data to score them all. Please look below for an explanation on why some schools do not have a mark from the Fraser Institute (F/I)

(Please note:  schools that do not have a rating on the Fraser Institute need a miniumum number of students (15) from the grades from which the data is drawn from and in some cases the available data is insufficient to properly rank the school getting them a rank of this N/A. Again rank isn't everything as there are many factors to consider and the score should be used in conjuction with having meetings with teachers, administrators, support staff, as well as your child and other parents to better the overall selection factor)

You then have the option that I can put you on an email campaign where you get every new listing sent to you daily in a concise email that fits your search qualifications which gives us a small window to see the property before it's listed on Realtor.ca if you see something you like.

TOP RESTAURANTS IN CHURCHILL MEADOWS

Now I know you can drive every two blocks and see a McDonald's or a Tim Hortons stationed on every corner but I like to find those little gems that you can make as your own local spot for a nice night out every once in a while. I have eaten at all of these places with my lovely wife and I have no complaints myself.

MY REAL ESTATE OPINION ON CHURCHILL MEADOWS

This is just my professional opinion but there are a lot of things I like about Churchill Meadows (my mother even lives here as well!) The demographics in this community are quite diverse and the area seems to attract those double income, professional families in pursuit of a more urban lifestyle. Again there are many schools in the district and some having great rankings and some in the middle of the pack.

As a location I think it's a fantastic area to raise a family with so many amenities surrounding you and easy access to almost all major highways. The neighbourhoods are pretty quiet in the evenings and there is a definite uniqueness to all the homes built here with their modern designs. The pathways intertwined throughout the community pushes for a healthy lifestyle with a slew of good parks and soccer fields for your little ones to play.

My only thing against the area (again this is all how you look at it) is that the lots are small but there is less work required of you for maintenance and that you pay a premium for your property right now. Overall it's culterally diverse, clean, schools are decent, the houses are modern (around 15 years old maximum) and the amenities surround you here but you have to drive to them unless you want to take a little walk and there are the pathways for that!
