TOP CATHOLIC SECONDARY
LOYOLA CATHOLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL - 7.1/10 FRASER INSTITUTE
4010 Sladeview Crescent, Mississauga ON L5L 6B1 P: 905.820.9822 F: 905.820.1753
Loyola Catholic Secondary School has nowhere to go but up if you ask me, since this school is only 3 years old and has already found itself among the top Catholic Secondary Schools in Mississauga on the Fraser Institute ratings for 2015. What's great about this school here is that the students focus on their academics and practice their faith as well as having a good athletics department and many other clubs and extra-curricular activities for your child to broaden their minds and connect with their fellow classmates.
ST MARTIN CATHOLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL - 7.4/10 FRASER INSTITUTE
2470 Rosemary Drive, Mississauga, ON L5C 1X2 P: 905.279.3171 F: 905.279.3685
St. Martin Catholic Secondary School did very well on their ratings on the Fraser Institute in 2015. Spending lots of their time focusing on their academics while learning their faith as well. They are simply just "Shaping young minds for the future". They are definitly doing something right here, so keep it up!
4555 Tomken Road, Mississauga, ON L4W 1J9 P: 905.602.6172 F: 905.602.8689
Being one of the older schools and finishing in as one of the top schools in Mississauga on the Fraser Institute ratings for 2015 just goes to show that you don't slow down with age. With over a whopping 1350 students that attend the school here, it's very impressive to get such a good ranking on the Fraser Institute. Hats off to the teachers and the students at Philip Pocock Catholic for a job well done!!
ST JOAN OF ARC CATHOLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL - 7.6/10 FRASER INSTITUTE
3801 Thomas Street, Mississauga, ON L5M 7G2 P: 905.285.0050 F: 905.285.0737
This state of the art learning facility opened its doors in 2007 boasting 65 classrooms, 45 smartboards, 8 tech studies which range from Green studies all the way to Robotics and so much more. The schools motto "Courage to Believe" is meant to connect those students and make them believe there is true potential in every student who attends here. Their Fraser Institute rating for 2015 seems to be backing that up as well.....well played St Joan of Arc students!
JOHN CABOT CATHOLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL - 7.7/10 FRASER INSTITUTE
635 Willowbank Trail, Mississauga, ON L4W 3L6 P: 905.279.1554 F: 905.279.3419
A new facility was built bearing the name John Cabot Secondary School in 2004 with their motto "Faith, Hope and Charity". To have faith and openess with others, hope to live with a strong sense of purpose and a general positivity toward life and charity as well as exuding a love for God and others. Their way of thinking here must be working with getting such good ratings on the Fraser Institute for 2015.
OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL SECONDARY SCHOOL - 7.7/10 FRASER INSTITUTE
3750 Trelawny Circle, Mississauga, ON L5N 5J7 P: 905.824.1025 F: 905.824.4549
With a strong spiritual dimension in all of the schools programs and activities, they must keep an equally strong outlook on their academic studies here at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Secondary School. They ended up finishing with great ratings on the Fraser Institute for 2015 and also just happens to be yet another exemplarary effort from another school in the Lisgar district.
IONA CATHOLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL - 7.8/10 FRASER INSTITUTE
2170 South Sheridan Way, Mississauga, ON L5J 2M4 P: 905.823.0136 F: 905.823.0248
IONA catholic Secondary Schools did extremely well in their ratings in the Fraser Institute for 2015. This is a great school that obviously takes their academics as seriously as they do their faith. Working with a few partnerships such as The Scott Mission to feed and clothe the poor in Toronto. Just goes to show their methods are there to show the students to both love and respect our fellow man in all their hardships as well
ST FRANCIS XAVIER SECONDARY SCHOOL - 7.8/10 FRASER INSTITUTE
50 Bristol Road West, Mississauga, ON L5R 3K3 P: 905.507.6666 F: 905.568.1026
Getting such a great rating on the Frasier Institute in 2015 is very impressive for a school housing just over 2000 students. St Francis Xavier is a relatively new school after having a considerable makeover/addition in 2001. With an evident encouragement in academics, you can see that their formula seems to clearly working for having this many students attending the school.
SAINTE-FAMILLE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL - 7.9/10 FRASER INSTITUTE
1780 Meadowvale Boulevard, Mississauga, ON L5N 7K8 P: 905.814.0318 F: 905.814.8480
One of the three french catholic schools in Mississauga seems to be having no problem getting such great ratings on the Fraser Institute for 2015. This is a great school selection for those francophones relocating to Mississauga and needing a quality french catholic school for their children. If you are needing an elementary school instead you have the top rated Ange-Gabriel located right beside it here. Both schools encourage their students on becoming an active group participant, to exude self confidence all the while developing respect of others while accepting their differences.
ST ALOYSIUS GONZAGA SECONDARY SCHOOL - 8.3/10 FRASER INSTITUTE
2800 Erin Centre Boulevard, Mississauga ON L5M 6R5 P: 905.820.3900 F: 905.820.3902
This is another newer "state of the art" school in Mississauga. At only 14 years of age St Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary School achieved some of the best ratings on the Fraser Institute for 2015. This school is also a multi-use facility being connected to the Erin Meadows Library and the Erin Meadows Community Centre. These great ratings must be linked to having access to top notch tv studio and editing rooms, a greenhouse, an auto centre, a drama stage and theatre and so much more. Looks like a great school to go and broaden your mind at with so much to do as well!
ST MARCINELLUS SECONDARY SCHOOL - 8.6/10 FRASER INSTITUTE
730 Courtneypark Drive West, Mississauga On L5W 1L9 P: 905.564.6614 F: 905.564.3202
For being a relatively new school at just 12 years of age, St Marcinellus seems to have hit the ground running coming in as the top seed for Catholic Secondary Schools in Mississauga on the Fraser Institute rantings for 2015. This is a school that strongly puts academics first and foremost, but also backs it up with fantastic athletics and arts programs as well as many other clubs to suit most interests, while promoting student interaction.
